The Neighborhood

The Pines Apartments is next to Memorial Park Cemetery (great for walking, biking and feeding the ducks) and within walking distance of Gage Park and the world-famous Topeka Zoo. The Fleming Shopping Center (with Dillons, Walgreens, Core First Banks, Pizano’s, Subway, UPS, Lola’s Café, Snip N Clip, and other stores) is eight blocks away at 10th and Gage. Schools in our area are Meadows Elementary, Landon Junior High and Topeka High School. Hayden High School, a private Catholic high school, is a ½ block away.
